Estimates based on the 2025 BLS median software developer salary compared with our Launch plan, GitHub’s controlled study of AI-assisted development, and surveys of the time small business owners spend on admin.

$100k saved per year vs. hiring an engineer

The median annual wage for software developers in the US was $135,980 in May 2025. Ten’s Launch plan is $3,000 a month, or $36,000 a year, which leaves just under $100,000 a year before benefits and hiring costs, which push the real gap wider.
